(SOUTH EASTON, Mass.) – After a three-year fight for representation, drivers and monitors with Massachusetts’s North River Collaborative have officially gained recognition as members of Teamsters Local 653 in South Easton, Mass. The 108 workers transport students with special needs and are based in Abington and Rockland.

(CHICAGO, Illinois) –Bus drivers and monitors in Chicago, Ill. voted unanimously to ratify their first union contract with First Student as members of Teamsters Local 777. The agreement covers approximately 115 workers and provides annual improvements throughout the life of the contract, which expires June 30, 2021.
With more than 85 percent of the bargaining unit participating in the election, drivers and monitors at Durham School Services in Wright City, Mo. have voted overwhelmingly to join Teamsters Local 610.
School bus monitors working for Niagara Falls Coach Lines have voted to ratify their first contract with Teamsters Local 264. The final margin was 36-2 in favor of implementing the new collective bargaining agreement.
(CHICAGO) — On Nov. 9, school bus drivers at First Student in Chicago voted 67-6 to join Teamsters Local 777. The drivers will join hundreds of First Student school bus workers currently represented by Local 777.
School bus mechanics represented by Teamsters Local 653 in South Easton, Mass. voted in favor of a first contract with First Student. The contract, which covers First Student mechanics at three school bus lots, includes wage increases, health care and other improvements.
