(CHICAGO) - More than 225 Coca-Cola Refreshments workers represented by Teamsters Local 727 voted Sun., Nov. 29, to authorize an unfair labor practice strike against the beverage industry behemoth.
Congress must close a loophole that allows some foreign goods made with child or forced labor to be imported into this country. That includes products from Malaysia, a TPP country.

(WASHINGTON) – The Treasury Department announced the details today for two public sessions in December for Central States Pension Plan retirees and participants to offer feedback on the proposed rescue plan. (CHICAGO) - Teamsters Local 727 filed numerous unfair labor practice charges today against Coca-Cola Refreshments, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO), that include bargaining in bad faith, intimidation of workers with baseball bats and unilaterally changing contract terms and working conditions.
