Washington Post: Truck Platooning Technology Offers Fuel Efficiency

Tech companies are swiftly advancing platooning technology, (as reported in this article from the Washington Post) organizing packs (convoys) of trucks to be digitally connected and driven in close formation as a way to reduce wind resistance and increase fuel efficiency. Proposals on platooning and other automated vehicle technology can be expected from UPS in upcoming negotiations.
