(HOUSTON, Texas) – Flight simulator technicians working for Southwest Airlines voted to ratify their contract with Teamsters Local 19. The collective bargaining agreement covering the 50 technicians will be in place for the next five years.
Teamsters who are members of Local 1932 at the City of Rancho Cucamonga’s Department of Public Works overwhelmingly voted to ratify a new contract on February 4, averting a possible strike.

(TOPEKA, Kan.) – Yesterday, Teamster school bus drivers went to the Kansas State Capitol to lobby on behalf of SB 38 and HB 2315, legislation that would extend unemployment insurance (UI) to school bus drivers employed by private contractors. Kansas is one of a handful of states that doesn’t allow school bus drivers employed by private contractors to collect UI during the summer months.
