Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa appeared on Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria” on Wednesday to discuss the Democratic debate in Detroit as well as economic and trade policy.

(IRVING, TX) – With over 92 percent of eligible workers voting in favor of ratification, school bus drivers and monitors at First Student of Irving, TX have voted overwhelmingly in favor of implementing their first collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters Local 745.
On July 9th the board of directors of PAMA (Professional Aviation Maintenance Association) approved the presidential appointment of a new director.
On Thursday July 26, Durham School Services drivers and monitors in Memphis, Tenn. voted overwhelmingly to ratify their newest contract with Teamsters Local 667. The new contract will set a higher standard for close to 600 workers who provide pupil transportation for Shelby County Schools.
(CRESTWOOD, Mo.) – Police officers with the Crestwood Police Department have voted unanimously to ratify their first Teamster contract. The 20 police officers, who are members of Local 610, are the first group of Teamster-represented officers in Missouri.
“After a lengthy negotiation and a 100 percent ‘yes’ ratification vote, we finally did it,” said Jeff Hall, President of Local 610. “I’m so proud of the officers of Crestwood and the tenacity they showed by sticking together. I’m honored to represent the heroes who serve and protect the citizens of the ‘Show Me’ state.”
