Warehouse Workers in Texas Join Teamsters Local 745
On February 20, by a vote of 25-4, warehouse workers in Grapeview, Texas voted to join Local 745 in Dallas.
The forklift operators work at Ecolab, a chemical company. There are 36 workers in the bargaining unit.
“These workers are seeking fair treatment, respect on the job and fair pay,” said Brent Taylor, Local 745 Secretary-Treasurer. “We will work hard to negotiate a strong first contract that addresses these issues.”
