AA Posts $220 Million Profit – Where’s Our Cut?

American Airlines posted $220 million in profit last quarter. Our employer is still in bankruptcy and we recently gave up our profit-sharing – and now profits are soaring. AA’s success is a product of our sacrifice. The reported revenue was the same as last year, so the new profits – along with Horton's big severance and any other management bonuses – have come out of our pockets. We need to stop management’s abuses against our mechanics and related craft. Only the Teamsters have the power and resources to fight to make that happen.
