University of Pennsylvania food service workers have ratified their first Teamster contract with Local 929 in Philadelphia. The dining hall employees, employed by Bon Appétit, unanimously ratified a  contract after just over one month of negotiations.

“Teamsters Local 929 negotiated significant wage increases each year of the 3-year contract, affordable health benefits, paid time off and seniority protection,” said John Preston, Secretary-Treasurer of the Philadelphia local. “We look forward to representing our newest members.”
