• By law, we cannot lose our vested IAM pension – we keep it as Teamsters.

• By law, US Airways must continue to make contractual payments to the pension.

• By law, if we’re vested in the IAM pension, we immediately vest in the new Teamster plan; if you’re not fully vested in the IAM plan, your vested years will count toward the new pension.

• The Teamsters have many stable pension plans, including some of the largest multi-employer plans in the world.
