(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – The International Brotherhood of Teamsters’ Airline Division and representatives of Republic Airways held talks Thursday in Washington, D.C. The meeting was described as positive and productive, and both sides agreed to bring in a private mediator to help them reach a new collective bargaining agreement for the pilots represented by the Teamsters.
The Teamsters and Republic Airways are currently working to find a date to meet again as soon as next month. Details for the next round of negotiations, including a date and location, will be released by the end of October.
