Teamsters Local 922 President Ferline Buie has sent Mayor Gray a letter requesting an immediate meeting to discuss a moratorium on fines and taxicab impoundment over the new regulations, a subsidy or reimbursement to compensate drivers for the unfair costs associated with the new regulations and the appointment of a driver to the current vacancy on the Taxicab Commission.
