Local 812, Great Neck, N.Y., members working as beverage distributor drivers at Phoenix/Lobo Distributors have ratified a new, five-year contract. The terrific contract solidifies job security, pay increases, pension and medical protection.
John Ulrich, lead negotiator, and the local’s executive board spent four days going over the entire contract proposal with members. Handouts were issued in English and Spanish. The contract was approved by a 3-1 margin.
