Drivers, mechanics and support staff at GET Bus in Bakersfield, Calif., continue their strike due to ongoing contract negotiations. The 256 employees began the strike on July 15.

Representatives from Teamsters Local 517 have been bargaining with the board of GET Bus for the past several months in order to win higher wages and more full-time positions at the public transportation company.
