(WASHINGTON) – The Treasury Department announced today that due to concerns over inclement weather across the eastern region, the public forum on the proposed Central States, Southeast and Southwest Areas Pension Fund rescue plan originally scheduled for Monday, Jan. 25 in Minneapolis, Minn. will be cancelled and rescheduled for a future date.

Treasury will announce the location and date of the Minneapolis meeting as soon as it becomes available. Updates will also be sent to Local Unions, Joint Councils, retiree chapters and all affiliates and posted at www.teamster.org.
