UPS, UPS Freight Teamsters: Have You Received Your Strike-Authorization Vote Instructions In The Mail?
You should have received your UPS or UPS Freight strike-authorization voting materials, which includes a credential to vote electronically, by now. Materials were mailed out on May 15.
If you have your voting materials, your Negotiating Committee urges you to vote YES now to authorize the UPS or UPS Freight Negotiating Committee to call a strike in the event the committee is unable to negotiate an acceptable collective bargaining agreement.
If you haven’t received your voting materials, contact your local union immediately to request a new credential or re-credential code for voting. Requests for a new credential or re-credential code for voting will be accepted until noon (Eastern time) Friday, June 1.
Once your request has been processed you will receive instructions via your choice of text or email. Remember, to be counted, all votes must be cast by 8 p.m. (Eastern time) Sunday, June 3.
Complete voting instructions are included in the mailed materials.
