Teamsters stood with federal workers and other trade union allies at a rally in Washington, DC today to demand an end to the government shutdown. Hundreds of thousands of our union brothers and sisters are being denied their paychecks while millions more are losing access to vital public services. Many federal employee union members are being forced to work without pay. If the shutdown isn’t resolved and a back pay bill isn’t approved soon, many workers throughout the country will not be able to make ends meet.

We call on Congress to find a solution to reopen the government and let our federal employees get back to work. #StoptheShutdown
