DHL Express Days of Solidarity

The Express Division is calling upon all DHL Express Teamster locals to mobilize rank-and-file members from now until April 20 in solidarity with DHL Express workers fighting to unionize at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. There are over 1000 workers eligible to vote in the union election at DHL Express’ biggest international package hub in the US. Rather than remain neutral as outlined in the National Master, DHL Express managers have increased pressure on workers with repeated acts of intimidation, threats, and retaliation. As their election date draws near, these workers need to know that Teamsters everywhere have their backs.

From now until April 20, we are calling on locals to post and send messages and images encouraging DHL workers at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport as they enter the final weeks of their union election.

In this toolkit:

DHL has a neutrality agreement with the Teamsters and collective bargaining agreements with Teamsters around the country. Instead of recognizing the right of ramp and tug workers at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (CVG) airport to join the Teamsters, management has cracked down on workers trying to organize. DHL profits off the backs of its ramp and tug workers at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport who find themselves working in unsafe conditions with little recourse to hold their bosses accountable.

Let these workers know the fight to join the Teamsters is worth it!
