The Teamsters and Anheuser-Busch issued a joint statement on contract bargaining today.
(CHARLESTON, W.Va.) — Coca-Cola Consolidated (NASDAQ: COKE) workers in Bluefield, W.Va., shut down state-wide distribution operations yesterday when approximately 28 employees went on a one-day unfair labor practice strike after the company made unilateral changes. The picket line was extended to other Coca-Cola Consolidated locations in Logan, Charleston, Parkersburg, and Clarksburg, where approximately 130 workers elected to honor the picket lines.

The Brewery and Soft Drink Workers Conference will be negotiating a new contract with Anheuser-Busch in 2018-2019. Workers at all 12 U.S. breweries of Anheuser-Busch are represented by Teamster local unions that are part of the Teamsters Brewery and Soft Drink Workers Conference.
Anheuser-Busch and International Brotherhood of Teamsters began national bargaining last week.
