City-owned parking garages in San Francisco are now more secure thanks to a newly introduced Teamster Garage Ambassador service.
(EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I.) – More Standard Parking workers at T.F. Green Airport were certified as Local 251 Teamsters earlier this month. With a 26-0 vote, the cashiers joined the shuttle drivers and maintenance workers who became members of Local 251 in January.
Applications for 2018 are now being accepted by the James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund.
After years of legal action in federal court, NLRB charges for unfair labor practices and numerous protests and rallies, valet parking attendants at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas voted unanimously this week to approve their first Teamster contract.

Congrats to Local 117 members at ABM Parking who voted unanimously to ratify a new 3-year contract last week.
The group, which provides valet and cashier services at the Virginia Mason Medical Center, will see wage increases, improved vacation leave, along with a number of other improvements.
Last year, Teamsters Local 727 negotiated annual wage raises in the master parking agreement. The agreement covers more than 2,000 parking attendants working at commercial and residential locations throughout the Chicago area. Each contract anniversary, increases are allocated between wages and benefit contributions. This year’s annual contract wage increase is $0.75 per hour and went into effect November 1, 2017.
A small group of Teamsters who work for Republic Parking in downtown Seattle voted to ratify a new three-year contract last week.
