(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) – Following a five-month campaign, drivers and mechanics at Apple Bus in St. Joseph, Missouri voted overwhelmingly to join Teamsters Local 955 on Tuesday, Sept. 11.
(ORANGE, Calif.) – Durham School Services Drivers and Monitors represented by Teamsters Local 952 have voted overwhelmingly to ratify their latest contract with the company. The more than 300 members provide student transportation services for school districts in Irvine, Santa Ana, Garden Grove and Laguna.
(MEDFORD, N.Y.) – After 14 months of negotiations between East End Bus Lines and Teamsters Local 1205, workers at the company have voted by more than a four-to-one margin to ratify their latest contract. The more than 300 school bus drivers, monitors, mechanics and related classifications provide services for the South Country and Longwood School Districts.
(NAPERVILLE, Ill.) – Teamsters Locals 777 and 179 drivers and monitors who work for First Student ratified contracts that contain significant gains in representation, pay and benefits. More than 600 drivers and monitors are covered by the two agreements, and they provide services for Naperville School Districts 131 and 204.
On Saturday, July 28 Teamsters Local 984 hosted a BBQ for its drivers and monitors at Durham School Services in Memphis, Tennessee. Over 50 member of Local 984 attended the event.
Supervisors at the Gold Coast Transit District have joined Teamsters Local 186. The fifteen supervisors oversee transit operations for the cities of Oxnard, Camarillo, Ventura and Ojai in Ventura County, California.
