(WELLS, Maine) – Employees at the Shaw’s distribution center in Wells, Maine have formed a union with Teamsters Local 340, due to an organizing election that took place on March 1. The workers are seeking job security and disciplinary due process, in addition to a contract that will protect their wages, benefits and working conditions from the uncertainties of the corporate workplace.
(WASHINGTON) – On March 2, 2017, an administrative law judge with the National Labor Relations Board ordered Sysco to begin bargaining with Teamsters Local 406 in Grand Rapids, Mich. after he found that the company threatened, intimidated and unlawfully punished workers during an organizing campaign in 2015.
On March 2, 2017, warehouse workers at Sysco in Post Falls, Idaho voted 19-8 to join Local 690 in Spokane, Washington.
(MILWAUKEE) – More than 700 Teamsters that work at Roundy’s Distribution Center in Oconomowoc, Wisc., overwhelmingly ratified a new three-year contract that makes strong gains for the membership in wages, maintenance of benefits and retirement security.
Twenty-nine Teamsters Local 710 warehouse members at Ferguson overwhelmingly ratified their first union contract by nearly a 7-to-1 margin. The agreement is in effect through March 31, 2019.

(WESTMINSTER, Mass.) –Teamster warehouse workers and drivers at Aubuchon Hardware’s distribution facility found themselves locked out of their jobs when they reported to their shifts this morning. They were met by security who had been instructed to tell the workers that they were not allowed on the property.
