BLET Members Ratify New Contract with Indiana Ohio Railway

Members of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) working at Indiana and Ohio Railway recently ratified a new five-year contract. The agreement covers wages, work rules and health/welfare benefits fore the 50 engineers, conductors and trainees in the unit.  Members will see wage increases of 28.6 percent over the life of the agreement.

“Union membership is not a spectator sport and I am proud to salute those Indiana and Ohio members who cast votes and wish to thank them for their perseverance throughout the negotiating and ratification process,” said Dennis Pierce, BLET National President and President of the Teamsters Rail Conference.
