Voter information for the ABF contract ratification was mailed on Thursday, April 19 and votes are due by 8 p.m. (Eastern time) on Tuesday, May 8.

On April 12, leaders from local unions that represent ABF Teamsters overwhelmingly approved the tentative ABF National Master Freight Agreement, paving the way for the voting that is under way.

On Thursday, April 26, the National Freight Division will begin accepting requests for new or duplicate voter access codes and voting instructions. Members seeking new or duplicate voter access codes must first contact their local union. The local will facilitate any requests from members for a new or duplicate access code. The local will also confirm that the individual requesting the access code and voting instructions is an eligible voter. Requests for new or duplicate voter access codes will be accepted until noon (Eastern time) Tuesday, May 8.

Beginning at 9 a.m., Wednesday, May 9, all local unions will make available to their ABF members a roster of eligible voters at the union hall for review. Members may not copy or photograph the list. All challenges must be recorded and faxed to the Independent Election Supervisor by 8 p.m. Eastern Time, Wednesday, May 9.

Votes will be counted at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 10.
