Workers at DHL NH LLC had enough of management abuse and voted overwhelming to join Teamsters Local 251 in East Providence, Rhode Island on June 7.
(CHICAGO) – University of Chicago student library employees have voted to unionize, with over 80 percent of voters supporting affiliation with Teamsters Local 743. These workers, 226 in total, known as the Student Library Employee Union (SLEU), and affiliated with Teamsters Local 743, will be the first nationally-recognized undergraduate and graduate student union at a private university.
Workers at Cott Beverages in Ft. Worth, TX have voted to join Teamsters Local 997. The 79 new members manufacture third-party soft drink beverages for big-box stores such as Walmart and Costco.
A group of twenty-nine workers at Canteen Vending have voted to join Teamsters Local 810 in Long Island City, New York. The new members work as vending drivers, vending helpers, pantry drivers, pantry helpers, and warehouse helpers. The vote was 22 – 6 in favor of voting to join the union.

(NIAGARA FALLS, New York) – Fifty school bus monitors working for Niagara Falls Coach Lines have voted to join Teamsters Local 264. The final margin was 41-2 in favor of joining the union.
Police officers working in Belle Fourche, Minnesota, voted to join Teamsters Local 120 on March 2.
