(FORT WAYNE, Ind.)—American Red Cross mobile-unit and fixed-site staff throughout Indiana and Western Ohio have voted to ratify their first agreement as members of Teamsters Local 414.
(FORT WAYNE, Ind.) – Fort Wayne-area Red Cross workers in the mobile and fixed site blood collection units have selected to be represented by Teamsters Local 414 in a card-check agreement. The count, tallied today, means that the local union has gained 142 bargaining unit members.
Teamsters General President Jim Hoffa addressed 100 attendees, who gathered in Washington, DC at the Red Cross headquarters on January 24, 2017, to review the progress that has been made since 2014 and the challenges ahead.
The Public Services department has issued a survey to all Teamsters employed at Red Cross.
