(WASHINGTON) – The Teamsters Union stands in solidarity with the United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) as it works to protect its members against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids that are tearing families apart. Federal officials have raided and arrested more than 100 union members at Fresh Mark plants in Ohio.
Since late May, more than 150 delivery drivers employed by Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. subsidiary American Bottling Company in the Chicago area have been out on strike, protesting numerous unfair labor practices committed by the company during negotiations.
