The Teamsters First Student Negotiating Committee wrapped up a second round of contract negotiations with the company on Thursday, Feb. 26, with continued progress being made. However, another round of negotiations is scheduled March 23-25.

“We continue to make progress on the issues, but negotiations take time and we want to make sure we address the major concerns of our First Student members,” said Rick Middleton, School Bus Director and Co-Chairman of the Negotiating Committee. “We would rather take more time to get it right so that we address the key issues. Too much is on the line here. We will get this done—we will protect the interests of our 21,000 members at First Student.”
