The Teamsters National Freight Industry Negotiating Committee (TNFINC) is prepared to exchange initial national contract proposals with ABF on Monday, December 18, and TNFINC is ready to negotiate a contract that addresses members’ issues.

“We are prepared to negotiate a contract that will address our ABF members’ priorities,” said Ernie Soehl, Director of the Teamsters National Freight Division and Co-Chairman of TNFINC. “Our more than 8,000 members at ABF work hard every day to make the company successful and they deserve excellent pay and benefits and fair working conditions.”

The current ABF—National Master Freight Agreement runs through March 31, 2018.

Following the initial contract proposal exchange, negotiations will commence in earnest on January 8.  Multiple weeks have been set aside for bargaining.
