Trump Administration to Release 1.5 Million N95 Respirators from the Strategic National Stockpile for Distribution to Nursing Homes (HERE)
- Under the leadership of President Trump, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) today announced the release of 1.5 million N95 respirators from the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) for distribution to approximately 3,336 nursing home facilities across the United States.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao Announces $400 Million in Federal Funding Allocations for Four Transit Infrastructure Projects (HERE)
- The Trump Administration today announced a total of $400 million in federal funding will be allocated by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to four transit infrastructure projects in Arizona, Indiana, Missouri, and New Jersey. “These critical rail transit infrastructure projects will help communities improve transit service as they continue to address the impacts of COVID-19 and recover from this public health emergency,” said FTA Deputy Administrator K. Jane Williams.
U.S. Secretary of Labor Announces Award of Nearly $20 Million to Combat Opioid Crisis (HERE)
- U.S. Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia today announced the award of nearly $20 million in funding to four states as part of a new pilot program to address the health and economic impacts of widespread substance and opioid misuse, addiction and overdose by providing retraining and other services to workers in communities significantly impacted by the opioid crisis. The grantees are the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the Maryland Department of Labor, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
