It saddens me to inform you that a Teamsters National Black Caucus (TNBC) legend Robert “Bob” Simpson was called Home. In 1971, Brother Simpson was the first spokesman for TNBC at the International Brotherhood of Teamsters 20th Convention in Miami, Florida. He also served as Local 743 President, and was elected as International Trustee in 1991. Brother Simpson will be greatly missed and our prayers are with his family.
