Local 170 Coca-Cola Workers On Strike
Fighting to Retain Seniority Rights
Teamster truck drivers, warehouse employees and merchandisers continue their strike against Coca-Cola Northeast in Westborough, Massachusetts. The members began picketing March 15 after rejecting the company’s final offer that would have stripped the employees of their seniority rights.
Community support for the strike has been strong – one of the groups offering their support was a group of MNA St. Vincent Nurses who left their own strike line to show solidarity and to say loud and clear: when we fight we win!
