(MINNEAPOLIS) –– Today, Teamsters across Minnesota endorsed Angie Craig for Congress in the 2nd Congressional seat race set for this fall.

“We are pleased to put our support behind Angie Craig who we know will be a strong advocate for working men and women across Minnesota and our country,” said Teamsters Joint Council 32 President Larry Yoswa.

With 62,000 active and retired members in the state of Minnesota, of which many reside in the 2nd Congressional District, there is no question that the support of the Teamsters Union in this race will be able to help deliver results come Election Day.

“We will work closely with other labor unions and allies to maximize our union voice at the ballot box by putting boots on the ground, knuckles on the doors and ears on the phone these next few critical months prior to the election. Together our work will attain true representation in Congress for working people,” Yoswa said.

“We believe Angie Craig will be the best representative for CD2 and a strong voice for labor on many fronts,” said Tom Erickson, President of Teamsters Local 120 in Blaine, Minn. “Having Angie Craig in Congress as an ally for working families will benefit all workers!”
