Applications for 2018 are now being accepted by the James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund. The application process must be completed through the on-line portal found on the Fund’s website: www.jrhmsf.org (the “Key” for the JRHMSF applications is JRHMSF)
High school students who are a son, daughter or financial dependent of a Teamster member (including GCC, BLET and BMWED members) are encouraged to apply for the Academic Scholarship. Academic scholarships are awarded to those planning to attend a four-year college or university.
A son, daughter or financial dependent of a Teamster member (including GCC, BLET and BMWED members) who are planning to enter a vocational or training program at a community college are welcome to apply for the Vocational/Training program scholarship.
There are two types of scholarship applications available: Academic and Training/Vocational. The details and eligibility requirements for each scholarship are available on the Fund’s website, www.jrhmsf.org (the “Key” for the JRHMSF applications is JRHMSF)
In 2017, the Fund awarded $1.4 million in scholarship awards to students in the U.S. and Canada. Assisting the sons, daughters and financial dependents of Teamster members with their educational goals is a tradition that we are proud to continue.
The deadline to submit an application is March 31.
