BMWED in Discussion with Railroads Regarding Potential Spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The BMWED is in discussion with various railroad carriers regarding the potential spread of the COVID-19, otherwise known as the Coronavirus. It is important to make preliminary plans to set up precautions if a Coronavirus diagnosis inflicts one of our Brothers or Sisters, or if the virus shows up anywhere at work.
 
BMWED Director of Safety Roy Morrison and all the BMWED General Chairpersons are making a coordinated effort to open up lines of communication with the railroads in order to state our desire to have precautions and plans in place to deal with the potential of this virus.
 
In the meantime, it is imperative to follow the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines in order to protect yourself from potentially contracting the disease. You can find those guidelines here:
