New Three-Year Contract For Teamsters At Hershey Medical Center
(HERSHEY, Pa.) – Hershey Medical Center members of Teamsters Local 776 concluded voting on a new three-year contract today. The proposed agreement was approved by a majority of those who cast ballots and covers more than 900 workers employed as clinical, supportive services and skilled trade workers at the medical facility.
The new contract includes wage increases for all job classifications, annual incentive pay bonuses, more money for overtime and meal allowances, and higher premium pay for those working on the evening and night shifts.
“I work hard to help the medical center maintain its good status,” said Jerry Stoneroad, an emergency medical technician. “With this Teamster contract, I can continue supporting my family.”
The employees at Hershey Medical Center are part of the Public Services Division of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. The Division represents more than 250,000 federal, state and local employees across the country.
