Maintenance workers in Vermont’s Chittenden County bus system have ratified a new contract with Teamsters Local 597.  The new three-year contract includes wage increases and the ability to gain job promotions via professional certification programs.   The 17 employees maintain the public transportation buses which service 9,500 a day throughout Chittenden county.
