Union’s Priorities on Display in Exhibition Hall

The Teamsters 29th International Convention met under a “Teamster Strong” banner, and that was reflected in the impressive exhibit hall located across from the main Convention ballroom.

This exhibit area included booths from every Teamster division, conference and department.

Something new this year, that was a highlight for everyone who tried, were the various simulators that allowed delegates and guests to see what it’s like at the controls. A flight simulator was on loan from Lockheed; a locomotive simulator was on loan from PST; and a truck driving simulator was on loan from L3 and was delivered by ABF.

In the center of the hall was a Teamster Action Center, where members could get involved in various ways, from calling members of Congress to signing petitions to joining DRIVE, the union’s political action committee.

The Teamster History Corner highlighted past conventions and featured videos and displays about the union’s history.
