Teamsters Local 502/CASA rallied outside Comcast last week, calling on the company to provide free, reliable internet for disadvantaged children so that all students can learn from home on an even playing field. The following day, after mounting pressure from the union and community leaders, Comcast announced it will provide free internet access for 35,000 low-income families.
