Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien, the newest member of the North American Building Trades Unions’ (NABTU) Governing Board of Presidents, attended the 2022 NABTU Legislative Conference today where attendees heard from President Biden, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and other political and policy leaders about the importance of using strong union labor to build a better America.

Legislation like the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill passed last year shows what can get done when NABTU and elected officials work together. Millions of workers now have the opportunity to earn middle-class wages that allow them to support their families. Americans, in turn, get quality work done on roads, bridges and mass transit from well-trained workers.
