At a New York gathering of conservative wealthy donors yesterday, members of the one percent begged Scott Walker to go national with his union-busting talents.
Twenty years ago, 30 percent of employers threatened to shut down a plant if workers joined a union. Now it's 57 percent of all employers, according to a new study by the Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy.
And, by the way, threatening to close a workplace is illegal.
Martin Jay Levitt was a union buster who won more than 200 organizing campaigns. He explains in this video how he did it -- and how most "labor relations consultants" or "human resources consultants" are continuing to do it.
"There isn't a practicing union buster who can't be successful if he doesn't break the law routinely," he says.
