Teamsters, NLRB Settle Unfair Labor Practice Charges At Taylor Farms
Recently the Teamsters and companies (including Taylor Farms, Abel Mendoza and Sling Shot) reached a settlement of the serious unfair labor practice charges many workers had filed with the National Labor Relations Board. In this settlement workers who were terminated for supporting the Union were paid back pay amounting to over $267,000. You should know, and the companies should now recognize, that it is illegal to fire a worker because they come together to fight for change in the workplace. Attached are relevant documents. The Teamsters continue to fight for justice at Taylor Farms.
