The Teamsters Union and FirstGroup reached a tentative contract agreement, Rick Middleton, Co-Chairman of the Teamsters First Student Negotiating Committee, announced today.  This agreement was not easy to reach and it took strength and solidarity both at the table and in the yards.
 
The specifics of the contract will be presented to members once local union representatives meet on June 30 to decide whether to endorse the tentative agreement. Once endorsed, the union will notify members and local meetings will be held to answer any questions before ballots are sent to members’ homes.
