UPS Named By Forbes As One of America’s Best Employers
For the third year in a row, Forbes put UPS on its list of “Best Employers.” The company is clearly proud of this distinction, pointing to industry-leading pay and benefits as one of the big reasons it’s considered a great employer. But none of that would be the case without decades of hard-fought battles waged by Teamsters to make UPS the employer it is today.
“When it comes to pay and other benefits, it’s great that UPS is recognized as a good employer, but let’s not forget that Teamsters are the reason the company can tout its high standards. And there is still a lot more to be done to maintain and raise those standards even higher for our UPS members throughout the country,” said Sean O’Brien, Director of the Teamsters Package Division.
