“Total Person Unionism” – CANCELLED

“Total Person Unionism” was a concept developed by Teamster leaders Harold Gibbons and Ernest Calloway in the 1950s. The idea was to expand the union’s role in members’ lives outside of the workplace. Gibbons wanted to provide services for the “total person”, offering programs that would benefit members in all aspects of their lives: from the job into retirement and beyond.
