Union Pay & Benefits*:
- Wages of union members are, on average, 27 percent higher than those of workers who do not have union representation
- 92 percent of union workers have job-related health coverage, while only 68 percent of non-union workers do
- 73 percent of union workers have a guaranteed, defined benefit pension, compared to 16 percent of non-union workers.
Scholarships:
- Member’s children or financial dependents are eligible to apply for a scholarship that provided over 1 million dollars to over 500 winners in 2018
- Scholarships range from $1,000 to $10,000 and can be used at a college or trade/vocational school

- Members and their families can earn an Associate Degree or certificates for free online
- The degrees/certifications are earned through Eastern Gateway Community College, a fully accredited non-profit college, part of the University System of Ohio • Credits may be transferred to other schools

Free Workplace Accident Insurance:
- Members have the ability to enroll in a free $10,000 workplace accident insurance policy and a free $2,000 all-accident policy
- Members must renew their enrollment in the plan once per year

Free Hardship Grants:
- Through being a cardholder of the Teamster Privilege credit card, free hardship grants are available to members (grants do not need to be repaid)
- Disability grants for members who have lost income from long term illness or disability
- Hospital grants for members with large, unreimbursed hospital bills
- Job loss grants for members who have recently been laid off
