States of Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan Will See Job Benefits
Recently the Rover pipeline, a natural gas pipeline project, was approved to begin construction. The pipeline will run from West Virginia through Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan – ultimately supplying natural gas to consumers in these states.
“We are pleased that the Rover pipeline is getting underway and we anticipate the first stages of the project will begin this March,” said David LaBorde, Direct of the Teamsters Pipeline division of the Building Material and Construction Trade Division. “Making this energy source available to more people, and involving union men and women in its construction is an ideal situation. We have a rigorous training program for pipeline construction and we believe that our members who take advantage of this training will have the best preparation for pipeline work.”
