In another victory against Sysco’s vicious mistreatment of workers, Teamsters Local 528 in Atlanta has won a fired Sysco worker’s job back with full pay and benefits.
(WASHINGTON) – With over 90 percent of the bargaining unit participating in the election, Teamsters material specialists voted overwhelmingly to ratify their tentative agreement with Southwest Airlines.
The cannabis sector continues to expand, and the decriminalization and legalization of recreational marijuana seems poised to become a significant issue in the 2020 presidential race. Kittitas County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Thompson, a member of Local 760 in Yakima, Washington, was fatally shot Tuesday by a suspect who evaded a traffic stop. A second officer, Benito Chavez, was injured in the shooting and is in satisfactory condition. The suspect was shot and killed.
