On Wednesday, April 5, 2017, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and Southwest Airlines reached an agreement covering more than 300 material specialists. Details of the agreement are available on this webpage, along with materials explaining the components of this contract.
Electronic voting will commence via Ballot Point beginning on or about May 24, 2017. Ballots will be mailed on or about Wednesday, May 31, 2017. Each member will receive voting instructions and credentials required for voting via mail, along with paper copies of the tentative agreement’s highlights, the tentative agreement, and a copy of the seniority list. Voting will close on or about June 14 and ballots will be counted on June 21. Please continue to check this page for more information, it will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
