Sysco workers in Michigan are mourning the loss of a former co-worker, Don Horn, who died on Monday, Feb. 8 about a year after he was callously fired by the company.
(PHOENIX) – Today, Teamsters Local 104 extended unfair labor practice picket lines from Phoenix to US Foods facilities across southern California, affecting the nation’s second-largest foodservice provider’s Corona, La Mirada and Vista, Calif.,operations.
More than 200 Teamsters – members of Local 104 in Phoenix – are on strike against U.S. Foods after the foodservice giant engaged in bad faith bargaining and discrimination against workers. The warehouse workers, drivers, and mechanics who have been working without a contract for months set up picket lines on Feb. 5 to protest unfair labor practices.

(ATLANTA) – Teamsters Local 528 members, whose fight to win union representation has lasted more than 18 months, ratified a first contract that provides strong union protections for more than 400 workers at Sysco’s Atlanta facility on Saturday.
