Ballots for the UPS and UPS Freight contracts were picked up from the post office today and are currently being sorted.
Teamster leaders have voted unanimously to kick off negotiations Sept. 27 for the national UPS and UPS Freight contracts covering about 250,000 union members nationwide, announced Teamsters General Secretary-Treasurer and Package Division Director Ken Hall.
Some of the packets of ballots mailed to UPS Package Teamsters contain a return envelope that says “UPS Freight” on the front. Please be assured that all of these will be counted in the UPS Package Referendum with the appropriate supplements and riders.
We have received reports that some members of Local 89 have received incorrect or incomplete ballot packets.
